So precious! We have been praying. Thank you for posting this because I was able to share it with my kids who have been praying for him! My oldest was in an accident when he was 6, in which he almost lost his life, so he relates to Elliot being in the hospital and I understand on a great level how you as parents feel! We will continue to pray! Love Darrin, Chrissy, Seth, Marissa, and Corey Hathaway
ReplyDeleteI am a 14 year cancer survivor. And Elliot will be too. Hold on to God's promise of healing. By His strips we have been healed. I will be praying for Elliot and you both as well. I will put you on our prayer list at my church. God is great and He is a God of mercy and healing. He is my doctor. By the way I use to work with Aaron at ABCA.

how precious your son is!! My brother had ITP when he was in high school, the docs said he contracted the virus through my scarlet fever. I remember what my parents went through, but until I became a mother did not fully understand. We are praying for you all and I know the Master Physician is in charge of little Elliot!! God bless you all with His comfort and peace as you go through this trying time.

ReplyDeleteDave,
ReplyDeleteI just saw this on your mom's page. I cannot begin to tell you how incredibly amazed I am by your unwavering faith and you and your wife's strength through all of this. I am an a avid giver to St. Jude's hospital, and every time I hear the commercials I sob like a baby. I will let my church know, and we will hold you guys up in prayer.

You know God gives all of us so many blessings. I just do not understand so many things that happen to His children but I do know knowing Christ as my Saviour is the ONLY thing that gets me through. I am so grateful you and your family know Christ. Janet is such a blessing to all of us at FBC and I know you are to your church family and friends. I pray God will heal little Elliott.
